Hall Of Fame…Congrats!

Congratulations are definitely in order! It brings me immense joy to share that my wonderful husband, Cedric Thornton, is set to be honored with induction into the esteemed Hall of Fame of Southern Arkansas University in October of 2024. I cannot express enough how proud I am of his remarkable achievements. Cedric has exemplified hard work and dedication throughout his entire career, striving tirelessly to reach the pinnacle of success that he has now attained. The fact that he is being recognized for his incredible accomplishments is indeed a remarkable and humbling moment. He is absolutely thrilled at the prospect, and I am deeply honored to be by his side to celebrate this momentous occasion with him. My love and admiration for him only grow stronger as I witness his well-deserved recognition. Cedric, this recognition is truly well-earned, and I want you to know that you are truly deserving of every bit of this honor. Not many individuals can boast a journey as extraordinary as yours—from graduating high school in 2006 at Star City High School, to embarking on a collegiate path as a walk-on football athlete at SAU, to taking the bold decision to leave college to pursue opportunities at the combine, despite going undrafted, and ultimately receiving the call-up to The Philadelphia Eagles' training camp. Your journey in the NFL has been nothing short of remarkable, with your dedication and skill earning you a prominent place in the league. Your outstanding contributions have not gone unnoticed, as evidenced by your high school honoring you with the naming of the school training facility after you. And now, to top it all off, your alma mater, SAU, is bestowing upon you the tremendous honor of induction into its prestigious Hall of Fame. Cedric, your journey serves as a true testament to your unwavering determination, talent, and drive to succeed. I am beyond proud of you, and I am filled with joy to witness you being rightfully celebrated for all that you have accomplished. Here's to you, Cedric, and to many more incredible moments to come as we revel in the well-earned accolades that continue to mark your remarkable career.

XOXO KAYE,
